Cattle Slats
Al’s Concrete Products has been manufacturing precast concrete Cattle Slats for over 40 years. We manufacture two different varieties of Cattle Slats.
Standard Cattle Slat: Designed for normal use; 4 feet wide and 6.5” thick. Available in lengths of 4, 8, 10 and 12 feet. Constructed with six 6-3/8” wide concrete bars with 1-5/8” wide slots.
Heavy Duty Cattle Slat: Designed to be driven on; 4 feet wide and 9.5” thick. Available in lengths of 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 feet. Constructed with six 6-1/4” wide concrete bars with 1-3/4” wide slots.
Our precast concrete Cattle Slats are manufactured using concrete with a minimum strength of 7000 psi, a water-cement ratio of less than 0.40, and two layers of rebar. These are also engineered for NRCS approval. Not seeing the size you’re looking for? Contact us for availability of other special size cattle slats. For more of your livestock needs, we also manufacture components for manure pit tops such as beams, solid panels, and cow platforms.
